Due to expansion works at the Hejre field, DONG have invested in an expansion of the oil terminal and associated facilities. The expansion of the crude oil terminal includes the establishment of a new oil stabilisation plant for degassing of the lighter hydrocarbons in the crude oil and equipment for the separation of propane and butane from the remaining light hydrocarbons.

CB&I, the main contractor for DONG on the crude stabilisation project awarded Randridge the electrical and instrumentation scope of work on the project, including all the electrical installation, instrumentation and control cabling and equipment installation, earthing and heat tracing, calibration and installation of instruments as well as commissioning and start-up.
